Book represents a concise presentation of dynamics of particles and bodies and has an intention to explain phenomena due to motion in the most simple and comprehensible manner. Mathematics is reduced to a rational gauge not to ballast the text. Book contains: dynamics of a particle and system of particles and rigid body dynamics. Starting with Newton¿s laws, free and constraint motion, relative motion, motion in the field of central force are considered. As a special problem, dynamics of mass variable system is read. In rigid body motion: translation, rotation around a fixed axle and fixed point, in-plane motion, and free motion of the body are presented. Results obtained applying the classical laws of dynamics are proved by using principles of analytic mechanics. Book contains a concise description of the variational principle and its application for solving problems of interest in optimal control, heat and mass transfer, etc. In the book a special attention is directed toward impact theory.
