A retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Army, Dr. Votaw directs the First Division Museum at Cantigny and is the general editor of the 'Cantigny Military History' series. As the Historian for the Society of the 1st Infantry Division, Dr. Votaw supervises the publication of the Society newspaper and advises the Society's historical activities.
