Harvey Minnick works as a nuclear medical technologist and has been writing for years. His influences include James A. Michener and Mark Twain. Minnick grew up in Chicago and now lives in Danville, Virginia. Marshal's story came from Minnick's experiences in a special security unit in the Army. Minnick plans a sequel to the book in which Marshal is called upon once again to save the human race.
