Brierley Hill was famous for many products in its heyday from steel at the Round Oak Works to sausages at the factory of Messrs Marsh & Baxter. Both were huge employers, but there were many others which contributed to the life of the town and its history that were of equal importance. As traditional industries have declined, others now provide employment for local people, but no matter the change, work remains a vital part of everyone's.
